Dr. Brij Pandey is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus. His research focuses on critical areas such as water resources management, hydrological modeling, the assessment of climate change impacts on water resources, and land use/land cover mapping. With a strong commitment to education, Dr. Pandey offers a range of courses that include Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, Hydraulics Engineering, Remote Sensing, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Wael A. Zatar, Professor and Director of Encova Center for Engineering and Safety. Professor Wael Zatar served as the Founding Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences at Marshall University from 2011 to 2020. He served at West Virginia University Tech and the University of Kentucky earlier. He served as President of the ASCE West Virginia Section. Dr. Zatar serves on the editorial boards of several journal publications and has authored or co-authored more than 250 research papers. Many factual references support the positive impact he made. Dr. Berardi is the current President of the Canadian Acoustical Association and of the International Association of Building Physics (IABP). Dr. Berardi has been Canada Research Chair in Building Science (from 2021 to August 2024) and Full Professor and Director of the BeTOP center at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Canada (from August 2014 to August 2024). His main research interests are related to the study of innovative solutions and new materials for improving performance within the built environment. Dr. Berardi's works on integrating nanotechnologies into building systems focus on organic bio-PCMs, and on granular aerogel.

Er Quek is Deputy Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Fyfe Asia and Fibrwrap Construction Singapore and has almost 30 years of industry experience. Er Quek holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Civil Engineering from University of Leeds, UK. She was also on the Dean’s list two years consecutively and won a book prize in her final year. She has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore. She is a registered Professional Engineer (Civil) and Specialist Professional Engineer (Protective Security) with the Singapore Professional Engineers Board and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer. She sits on the Institute of Engineers of Singapore and Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) Singapore Joint Committee and holds the position of Assistant Honorary Treasurer. She sat on the UK Technical Report 55 FRP Guidelines drafting technical committee during inception stage and held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Singapore FRP Society between 2003 and 2005. For her contributions to the engineering community, she has been conferred numerous accolades from both the Institute of Engineers, Singapore (IES), IStructE (Singapore Regional Group), and IStructE (UK), in recognition for her dedication, contribution and extensive support to the institutions. In 2020, she was accorded the Woman Worth Watching in S.T.E.M. award and selected to feature in the Profiles in Diversity Journal. Er Quek has been invited to speak in numerous international conferences and has published over 20 technical papers as well as provided training and workshops to industry professionals. Being active in research and development she obtained a patent under her name in Fyfe Asia for Development of Beam – Column FRP Connections for Seismic Strengthening and has recently filed to apply for patent for brick wall in-plane and out-of-plane strengthening using composite ‘I’- sections incorporated with FRP. Besides these, she holds joint ownership of several other patents.

Prof. Qing Wang received his doctoral degree from the Tongji University for a work on interface strength of fiber-reinforced composites in 1996. In 1998, he became full Professor of Material Mechanics at the Shandong University of Technology, China. In 2000, he joined the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan. In 2014 he moved to Shandong University of Science and Technology, China, as Taishan Distinguished Professor. In 2017, he acted there as the Dean of the department of Materials Sci Eng. Now he works at Taishan University as the Director of the Institute of Advanced Engineering Materials and Structures. Prof. Qing Wang's main area of research is micro- and nano-fabrication and its application in advanced functional materials. Dr. Saleh is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Canterbury. He received his PhD degree in 1999 from Arizona State University, USA. Prior moving to Academia, he joined the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) as a Transportation Engineer in the major maintenance division and during his tenure, he was involved in several major highway projects. Professor Saleh is an expert in the area of pavement materials characterizations, pavement design and analysis, Road asset management, and Geometric Design of Highways. He has carried out several funded research projects of national and international impacts for different governmental and private organisations, consultants and contractors and he has been involved in major highway design projects in New Zealand and Australia. Dr. Saleh has several publications in refereed journals and international conference proceedings. Professor Saleh research work resulted a patent registered in several jurisdictions USA (US10883906B2), EU (EP3479095B1) and validated in Netherlands. France, Germany and other countries.

Dr. Arash Karimi Pour got his Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He is the director of the Innovative Structural Engineering and Mechanics Center (ISEMC). He was a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Civil Engineering at UTEP for four years. During this time, he did different projects for NASA, TxDOT and Army. He has started working at UTEP since 2019. He was a Standing Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and an active research member of the Center of Transportation Infrastructure Systems (CTIS: from 2019-2020) and Transportation Leadership Council (TLC). I am an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering and a Chartered Civil Engineer. I am also a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng, FICE), a Member of the Institute of Concrete Technology (MICT), and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Prior to joining the University of Birmingham, I held the position of Reader in Civil Engineering at Brunel University London from 2017 to 2023. At Brunel, I completed my Civil Engineering with Sustainability degree in 2012 and earned my Ph.D. in Sustainable Engineering Materials in 2016, fully sponsored by the Industrial Cooperative Awards in Science & Technology. Prof. Bashir Saleh, Associate Professor and Head of the Building Department at Tripoli's Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies Dr. Bashir Saleh received his Ph.D. in 2013 from Warsaw University of Technology in the subject of designing buildings exposed to severe events (explosions and fires) utilizing modeling, simulation, and experimental tests. In 2007, he earned his Master of Science in Structural Engineering, concentrating in high-rise building design utilizing the European Code for Composite Materials for Steel and Concrete. He was a non-resident professor at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and Osaka in Japan before joining the Libyan Advanced Center for Technical Education in 2014. He performed research in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Tripoli, State of Libya, from April 2014 until April 2019. One of his publications was chosen in 2013 as the Scientific Journal of Architecture's (SJA) outstanding research study. Dr. Bashir Saleh's research interests include modeling and simulation sciences as well as academic works in which he uses modeling and simulation methods (using Abaqus, Ls-Dyna, and MS Patron). Author or co-author of more than 50 scientific papers in other countries and more than 20 scientific articles in the United States. At several scientific gatherings, including the Qatar University 2023 Conference, the Paris Conference in France, and the University of Tripoli Conference, he has given the opening keynote address.

Dr. Ehsan Noroozinejad is a Senior Researcher at the Urban Transformations Research Centre, where he specializes in Smart Resilient Construction and Infrastructure. With a wealth of experience, Dr. Noroozinejad previously held a prestigious position at UBC Smart Structures in Canada before joining the UTRC. As the director of the Resilient Structures Research Group, Dr. Noroozinejad has spearheaded groundbreaking advancements in the field of structural engineering alongside an esteemed team of international researchers. Hamid Saadatmanesh, Ph.D., P.E. is a Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Arizona, and CEO of CarboShield, Inc., a company specialized in the utilization of advanced carbon fiber composites for infrastructure applications. Dr. Saadatmanesh’s principal field of expertise is in application of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composite materials in civil engineering. He has pioneered many innovative applications of FRPs in construction and has published over two hundred technical articles on this subject. His papers have received several “year’s best paper awards” of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He has also received a National Science Foundation Award for his work in the area of utilization of FRPs for repair and retrofit of infrastructure. Dr. Lahiru P. Silva is an accomplished professional based in Calgary, AB, with extensive expertise in project management, construction management, and productivity improvement. Arturo Espitia is the lead highway project engineer for the National Infrastructure Agency - ANI of Colombia. He is a professional civil engineer and Road Infrastructure Specialist from the UPTC University dedicated to solid training in road project management with a territorial focus, backed by more than 9 years of higher education and more than eleven years of experience in processes related to execution, monitoring and control of civil works, through the coordination of technical-administrative audits, especially in road infrastructure and pavements.
